Job Title : Maintenance Technician
Pay Range : $25.00-$36.00 / hour
Day-to-day Role :
- Perform maintenance and electrical function and troubleshoot to correct inefficiencies and prevent equipment downtime by completing regular PM’s.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical problems of plant machinery.
- Ensure the maintenance and preventive maintenance of corrugating plant process equipment to achieve world-class results;
ensure all equipment is running properly and meets operational requirements.
Other corrective and preventive maintenance duties to be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED.
- Detail-oriented, organized and dependable with time management skills.
- 3 - 5+ years’ experience with Electrical and Mechanical Systems, computers in an industrial environment including hardware, software & network configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot various pneumatic, hydraulic systems, working knowledge of PLC’s and motors.
- Knowledge of computers and automated machines.
- Strong maintenance electrical background (manufacturing preferred) in AC / DC motor control, troubleshooting, and electrical wiring codes.
- Excellent people skills and communication, both verbal and written.
- Strong work ethic with an emphasis on safety.
- Computer competence and experience with the Microsoft suite.
- An energetic, motivated, and dependable worker who is dedicated to the job and team.
