Cloud Services Engineer - Hybrid (NO C2C)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Services / Linux Administrator with extensive experience in operating within application development teams.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of conceptual requirements and the ability to translate them into robust Cloud (AWS and / or Azure) designs.

This role requires hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, with a strong track record of leading and executing diverse projects independently.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate closely with application development teams to understand conceptual requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient Cloud solutions.
• Design, implement, and maintain Cloud infrastructure on AWS and / or Azure platforms, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• Lead the planning and execution of cloud migration projects, including assessing existing infrastructure, designing migration strategies, and overseeing the migration process.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay updated on emerging Cloud technologies and best practices, and evaluate their potential impact on existing infrastructure and processes.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Cloud Services / Linux Administrator role within an application development team environment.
• Proven track record of leading and implementing Cloud solutions from conceptualization to production deployment.
• Deep understanding of Cloud platforms such as AWS and / or Azure, including services like EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Azure VMs, Azure Functions, etc.
• Proficiency in Linux server administration and shell scripting.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

• AWS or Azure certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
• Knowledge of network protocols and security standards.
• Experience working in Agile development methodologies.
