POSITION SUMMARYCVS Health has an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as a Clinical Development Pharmacist! Are you looking for a clinically interesting role that has a big impact on population health?

This may be the role you are looking for!As a Clinical Development Pharmacist, you will create and maintain clinical content for specialty and traditional drugs covered under the Medicare Part D line of business.

You will use and develop a strong knowledge of specialty and traditional pharmaceuticals, disease management and therapeutics.

Knowledge of utilization management interventions including prior authorization, step therapy, quantity limits and formulary exception is required.

Additionally, you will work in a matrix relationship with business partners and product teams to identify, develop, and monitor the impact of programs on supporting drug coverage through the pharmacy and medical benefit.

You should have experience interpreting drug information to support UM. Knowledge of regulations impacting UM for Medicare, Medicaid and Exchange clients is preferred.

Knowledge of formulary management and strategy to support existing and newly created formularies is required.This is a hybrid role, based out of our Buffalo Grove, IL Irving, TX or Pittsburgh, PA office locations.

Colleague would work 3 days per week in office, with the ability to work remotely the other 2 days. Must reside in commutable distance to Buffalo Grove, IL, Irving , TX or Pittsburgh, PA.

Required Qualifications : Active pharmacist license that is in good standing2+ years of managed care experience / Prior Authorization experience1+ years experience of clinical therapeutics for specialty drugsProven proficiency in literature search and evidence-based medicine with strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications : Residency or BCPS.Knowledge of PBM and benefit design preferred3+ years of Managed Care / PBM experienceEducation : B.

S. Pharmacy or PharmDPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is : $87,035.00 - $206,206.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.

The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
