Project Manager

Responsibilities :

Peraton is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team.

Location : Robins AFB, Georgia.

In this role, you will :

Provide oversight and functions as the main point of contact for multiple concurrent projects.

Interface with the customer and project team (software developers, operations, security, deployment, quality assurance) to define requirements.

Obtain approval for project activities through the configuration control board (CCB).

Work with the project team to define project tasks and schedules and obtains stakeholder buy-in.

Ensure project solution meets requirements and customer priorities

Conduct project meetings, create project documentation

Monitor project progress continuously, regularly updating project schedules and documentation

Prepare detailed status reports on project activities, milestones, and deliverables

Assesse project risks and issues.

Develop mitigations to ensure productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives are met

Provide regular status updates to program management.

Brief project status to program team and customer bi-weekly.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications :

Minimum of 8 years with BS / BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS / MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD.

Experience defining and documenting requirements.

Ability to identify risks and process improvement opportunities to add value to the projects managed.

In-depth understanding of Project Management practices and the Software Development Life Cycle.

Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to cultivate close working relationships with customers, project team members, leadership, and other stakeholders.

Proficiency with software tools required for development and maintenance of project plans and documentation (Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint).

Experience leading project teams.

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Self-motivated and results oriented.

U.S. citizenship.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with enterprise-wide data consolidation efforts.

Air Force Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) application experience.

Ability to cultivate new business opportunities.

Knowledge of DevOps.

PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.

Active Public Trust, Interim Secret, or Secret clearance.

Recent Department of the Air Force-issued Common Access Card (CAC).

Local to Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.

Target Salary Range :

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
