Our client is a leading digital transformation consulting firm focused on Data, Cloud, and AI solutions. As a result of their continued success they are seeking a Data Science Lead who has recent and extensive experience leveraging Machine Learning, and interfacing with LLM's.
LOCATION and WORKING ENVIRONMENT :
Preference is Atlanta or Cleveland area with three (3) days in office.
Remote candidates will be considered.
Must have green card or permanent residency status.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Experience with econometric concepts such as causal inference, standard error correction, population inference.
- 3-5+ years using (deep) machine learning techniques to drive business value, including at a minimum penalized linear regression and SVM analysis.
- Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly in both technical and non-technical professional contexts is critical.
- Familiarity with APIs particularly for interfacing with open-source LLMs.
- Software engineering experience in Python (or R). Other programming languages like C++ or java a bonus.
- Familiarity with Python machine learning engineering libraries, including scikit-learn, Tensorflow 2.0 or pytorch.
- Experience with data rebalancing techniques and bias mitigation.
- Familiarity with various cloud SDKs - Further is cloud-agnostic in general and has clients using Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud across the board.
- Comfortable using and explaining a variety of AI evaluation metrics recall, precision, area under the curve (AUC), roc, accuracy, perplexity
- 5+ years of analytics experience, producing data-driven answers to executive questions.
- Familiarity with source control, code review, style guide compliance, and modular development.
