Graphic Designer (Signage Design) Experienced Only
Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating computer-generated layouts for approval / sign-off for Signage and Display / Fixture projects involving the usage of your expertise in fabrication techniques
- This position includes the responsibility to create accurate breakdown layouts for client approvals and floor production
- Digital print Vinyl and / or full-color graphics output that can be weeded, cut, and applied or printed and mounted to a substrate
- Creating technical layouts for fabricated displays & and signage and coordinating with the team from concept to completion
- Prioritizes each day to efficiently and cost-effectively schedule the workflow
- Works with co-workers and customers with proofs and approval etc
- Inspects jobs for accuracy before sending them to the output / production team for plotter, printing, and fabrication
Qualifications
- Strong PC skills and sign production software skills including Coreldraw / Adobe Creative Suite and architectural software (Autocad / Solidworks / Sketchup etc)
- Previous experience as a graphic designer, and fabrication-related computer operator, including an advanced level of experience using Corel / Adobe / 3D applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and fractions and converting fractions to decimals and vice versa)
- Able to work well under pressure to output high-volume, high-quality work
- Experience in the Signage and display industry is a must
- Willing to work overtime and weekend hours if required
- Experience : Sign manufacturing : 2-3 years (Required)
- Large Format Printing : 2-3 years (Required)
- Vinyl Mounting and Lamination : 2-3 years (Required)
- CorelDraw : 3 years (Required)
- Adobe Creative Suite : 3 years (Required)
