Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily cash workbook, record customer payments, and process receipts in the accounting system.
- Prepare weekly bank deposits for locally received checks.
- Analyze credit terms and limits for new customers.
- Review open accounts, identify delinquencies, and initiate collection efforts per agreed payment terms.
- Make professional outbound collection calls / emails while maintaining customer relations.
- Process customer credit card payments through the designated portal.
- Prepare monthly accounts receivable aging analysis for reporting to finance and sales management.
- Propose and follow up on customer payment plans as needed.
- Exercise sound judgment in requesting credit holds or third-party collections for delinquent accounts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between invoices and customer payments.
- Support internal and external audit requests.
- Undertake other assigned duties as required.
Essential Qualifications
- 3-5 years of corporate collections experience, including with a diverse, multi-national customer base.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and prioritize critical tasks.
- Self-disciplined, creative, and able to work with a sense of urgency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and SAP or Oracle.
