About The Position
A school district in Lakewood, WA is looking for dedicated School Speech Language Pathologists to join their team for the 2024 - 2025 school year with the possibility to extend.
School SLPs who work for Pioneer Healthcare Services are dedicated professionals who interact amongst diverse populations and are enthusiastic about the difference they make in their patients' lives through assessment and treatment.
Responsibilities of a School Speech Language Pathologist SLP :
- School-based experience preferred
- Must have your CCCs
- Strong understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments
- Attentive and caring with the ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Ensuring evaluations, treatment plans and service delivery are aligned with school, state, and federal guidelines
- Reporting progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals
- Completing treatment notes and progress reports in timely manner and according to school policy
- New grads and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply - We will support you through this transition
- Submits all billing logs and necessary information on a timely basis
