Duties & Responsibilities :
- Evaluate and assess patient's level of function
- Developing an individual plan of care based on personal goals
- Implementing the treatment program through direct treatment of the patient
- Reassessing clinical signs and symptoms to determine effectiveness of program
- Instructing patient, family, and other clinical staff regarding participation in the treatment program
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements :
- Degree in physical therapy from a university accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
- License to Practice by the State of New Mexico
- Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, concepts, and methodology required of an physical therapist and its practice application in the treatment of patients in a rehab setting
- Excellent Communication and documentation skills
- Willingness to work cohesively with an interdisciplinary team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured transportation
