Job Summary :
The Jaguar Land Rover Shop Foreman at Mills Auto Group is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Jaguar Land Rover service department in Columbia, South Carolina.
This individual will lead a team of technicians and skilled laborers in providing high-quality maintenance and repair services to customers' vehicles.
The Shop Foreman will also work closely with the Service Manager and other department leaders to ensure the department's success in meeting performance and financial goals.
Compensation & Benefits :
This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a base salary plus commission structure.
The compensation package for this position ranges from $85,000 to $130,000 per year, paid semi-monthly.

Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily operations of the Jaguar Land Rover service department, including managing and scheduling technicians and skilled laborers to ensure timely completion of work
- Monitor and maintain department performance and financial targets, including revenue and profit goals
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide high-quality service solutions
- Train, mentor, and monitor the performance of technicians and skilled laborers to ensure quality work and adherence to safety standards
- Perform and oversee complex diagnostic and repair work on Jaguar Land Rover vehicles when needed
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Jaguar Land Rover products, services, and procedures
- Keep service records and documentation in accordance with company policies and industry regulations
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment and responsible use of tools and equipment
- Collaborate with other department leaders on process improvements, customer service initiatives, and other projects as needed
Requirements :
- High school diploma or GED required, technical or trade school degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- ASE certification and / or factory training in Jaguar Land Rover vehicles preferred
- Strong technical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to lead and motivate a team and foster a positive work environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
- Proficiency in computer applications and diagnostic software
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods
