Job Summary :
We're seeking a Controls Project Manager to join our team in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building automation and control systems, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
This role involves overseeing the project lifecycle, from initial design through to implementation and completion, ensuring projects meet client specifications, budget, and timelines.
Responsibilities :
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring project deliverables meet these requirements.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, providing direction and support to achieve project goals.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial accuracy.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the documentation and reporting process, ensuring all project details are accurately recorded.
Qualifications :
- Resident of San Jose, CA, with knowledge of the local market.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management within the controls or building automation industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical or Controls Engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Strong organizational, financial, and communication skills.
- Expertise in control systems, software programming, and system integration.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
