Job Title : Material Handler
Schedule : 2nd shift (Training on First shift -2nd shift 1 : 30pm 12 : 00am, Monday - Thursday)
3rd Shift (Training on First shift 8 : 00am - 4 : 40pm, Monday - Friday) -3 rd Shift 7 : 00am 7 : 30pm, Friday through Sunday (36 hrs but is paid for 40 hrs).

Duration : 6 Months Contract
Job Description :
Operate fork truck effectively and safely.
Receive and review documents from drivers.
Match CTPAT seal numbers against declared on documents.
Count skids on trailer and match against skid quantity declared on documents.
Unload incoming product, raw material, machinery, tools coming from Reynosa.
Match skid serial numbers against packing lists.
Deliver packages to the appropriate area (see warehouse leader on this).
Load product on rack location.
Process Oracle transactions with bar code scanner (see warehouse lead on this).
Pick and stage product to ship to Customers from pick lists supplied from warehouse lead.
Perform quality checks on all containers and report any issues.
Print 2D unique labels for each skid and place on correct skid.
Load product into designated trailer as well as balancing the load on it.
Perform daily fork truck inspections, fill out report and highlight any issues as required.
Change propane gas tanks on fork trucks as required, maintain the gas tanks cage closed.
Maintain area clean as well as following 5S initiatives, this includes sweeping, pick up trash, empty trash containers into the dumpster.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills :
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
1-3 years of forklift driving experience and working in shipping and receiving for a manufacturing company.
Organizational skills.
Proficiency in bar code scanners.
Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.
Certified in utilizing a Forklift.
Ability to use an electric or manual pallet jack.
Physical Requirements
Employee must be able to work standing, frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling of parts, lift to 50 lbs.
