Job Description
- The Packaging Operator I role is the entry level role at the Mt. Vernon facility. This role is responsible for
- packaging, cleaning, and relieving for breaks. This role will primarily work in the production area.
- JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Spotting out-bound trucks into material load docks, ensuring dock-locks
- Reclaiming off-quality Unbonded Loosefill and refeeding the material to the forehearth
- Packaging operator placing bags on bagger equipment snouts ensuring proper packaging of finished goods

- Performs general cleanup duties in designated areas (including, but not limited to, sweeping floor, blowing
- down the line / robot, cleaning break rooms, etc.).
- Assist with Preventative Maintenance processes
- Perform special needs as determined by plant staff
- Participates in safety and housekeeping programs as established within the plant.
