Our client (a manufacturer) is seeking a Production Planner to play a crucial role in managing productions schedules, coordinate between departments and ensure on-time delivery.
What you'll be doing :
- Developing and executing detailed production schedules that meet customer demands and optimize resource allocation.
- Collaborating with procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure material availability and timely production.
- Monitoring production progress and adjusting schedules as needed to address delays or issues.
- Analyzing production data to identify trends, drive improvements, and implement best practices.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Here's who we're looking for :
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a production planner in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
The company is relocating from Trenton to Plano in early January - so the job will originate in Trenton then move to the new facility in Plano (bordering Allen).
