Summary
Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing patient care in accordance with established standards and skill competency.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Must possess a current license to practice professional nursing or possess a temporary practice permit in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Appropriate clinical experience with a thorough knowledge of the scientific principles of nursing; a thorough knowledge of professional nursing standards;
developed skill in delivering nursing care and the ability to adapt of individual needs required.
- A fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system.
- The ability to successfully complete a competency-based orientation and annual competency testing of skills and / or knowledge necessary to provide care to specific patient populations.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within three months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- One to three years clinical experience in critical care, emergency room, or medical imaging nursing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
