We are looking for an exceptional Electrical Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a team of talented engineers in the design and development of cutting-edge electrical systems.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on power systems, electronics, and circuit design.
The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent team management and leadership skills, and a passion for mentoring junior engineers.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and a strong understanding of electrical system design are essential.
This is an onsite position based at our HQ in Tallassee, AL. Alternatively, candidates may work from our Duluth, GA office, with regular travel to Tallassee.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers in the design and development of innovative electrical systems.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve departmental and company objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of electrical system design, from concept to production.
- Use AutoCAD to create detailed electrical schematics and layouts.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the successful integration of electrical systems into overall product design.
- Manage the testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure they meet all necessary requirements and standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Continually monitor industry trends and advancements in technology to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power systems, electronics, and circuit design.
- Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and a strong understanding of electrical system design.
- Excellent team management and leadership skills, with a proven ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.
- Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex technical concepts.
