The Role : As a Shift Leader, you’ll be an integral part of our team, helping to oversee day-to-day operations during your shifts.
You’ll focus on keeping the team organised, motivated, and customer-focused, while working directly alongside them. Here’s what your role will involve :
- Daily Operations : Lead the team through smooth and efficient service during your shift, ensuring consistently great hospitality.
- Team Support : Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance for a team of up to 5-6 people during service, fostering a warm and inclusive culture.
- Guest Bookings : Handle day-to-day bookings and reservations, ensuring guest needs are met.
- Standards Maintenance : Ensure adherence to basic Health & Safety, fire safety, and food hygiene standards.
- Team Motivation : Support the team by encouraging positive attitudes, staying calm under pressure, and providing hands-on assistance.
- Problem Solving : Take the lead in resolving any guest issues, team confusion, or complaints, ensuring a positive outcome.
- Innovation : Bring fresh ideas to improve efficiency, guest experience, and overall team morale.
- Communication : Maintain clear and effective communication with both the team and management.
Who You Are : We’re looking for someone with strong leadership skills who can inspire and motivate a small team during their shift.
Experience in hospitality is a plus but not essential what’s more important is your ability to lead, organise, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
