Kelly Engineering has an exciting opportunity with our client in Columbus, OH for a Production Planner-This role will support all materials and master planning activities including production control and scheduling, materials planning and stock accuracy.

General responsibilities :

Continuous improvement of work and activities

Compliance with the corporate mission statement

Cooperation with other people in spirit of mutual respect

Fulfilling thoroughly all tasks within the scope of defined qualifications and responsibilities

Represent the company in professional and respectful manner.

Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information

Adherence to 5S principles

Specific responsibilities :

Oversee and enforce safety practices and conditions.

Monitor and control the activities for optimal production orders management.

Improve stock accuracy by monitoring receipts and consumption of materials.

Create, implement, and maintain supply chain KPIs.

Actively participate in logistics continuous improvement projects

Position Requirements :

Thorough understanding of MRP

Knowledge of inventory controls

Notion about production planning

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Highly motivated
