GENERAL PURPOSE
Assist undergraduate and graduate nursing students with practice and competency evaluation of nursing skills in a supportive, nurturing, clinical environment.
Participates in Simulation Based Education (SBE) across nursing curriculums.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide nursing students with the support necessary to practice nursing skills. Administer competency evaluation of psychomotor skills for undergraduate students with reinforcement and remediation of nursing skills as warranted.
- Facilitate simulation experiences : setup, scenario competency, breakdown of environment, and debriefing.
- Assist with the day-to-day activities of the CLC.
- Assist with maintenance of laboratory environment, inventory of supplies and equipment.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree (Registered Nurse, B.S.N)
- 5 to 8 years of clinical experience
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

SALARY INFORMATION

The hiring hourly pay rate for this position is $38.00 to $40.00 / hour. This hourly pay rate represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
