Higginbotham, a privately held, independent insurance and financial services firm that ranks within the top 20 nationwide, has an immediate opening for a F & I Trainer in our Louisville, KY office.
The goal of the F & I Trainer is to drive production in accounts through our existing programs and to look for opportunities for organic growth as well as prospecting for new acquisitions.
The in-store responsibilities include : F&I, sales and service training, account management, resolving issues in the F&I, sales, service and accounting dealership offices, maintaining positive client relationships to accounts with a high quality of service, with a focus on high profitability for the dealership and for the agency.
Essential Job Functions
- Primary responsibilities include advanced prescriptive menu, ancillary product, and sales efficiency training of finance and insurance managers and sales manager teams across dealerships in the assigned area territory
- Demonstrate and present the value proposition of all F&I products to dealer principals, general managers, and other executive key decision makers
- Work seamlessly with the regions area F&I Producer to identify prospected dealers and dealers requiring advance F&I training and consultation
- Develop business plans to align with corporate goals
- Promote a culture of teamwork, excellence and integrity
- Maintain and build relationships with dealerships within the assign area
- Assist with resolving customer quality and support issues
- Maintain an adequate inventory of sales supplies for placement at dealerships
Skills and Abilities
- Proven experience meeting sales goals
- Expertise in all aspects of finance and insurance, including lender selection, DMS interface, analysis of customer credit, compliant paperwork, menu-selling and deal structuring
- Strong interpersonal and people skills
- Ability to establish and maintain client relationships
- Ability to make consistent quality decisions
- Ability to meet and communicate with senior level managers
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to meet deadlines and meet established objectives
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of indirect finance products
- PC skills to include Microsoft Office
- Travel within the aligned market / territory
- Valid Driver’s license and auto insurance.
