Currently we are partnered with a preferred client in San Antonio Texas in search of a highly talented Administrative Director of Perioperative Services .

Job Summary :

The Administrative Director is responsible for planning organizing directing and managing resources for multiple departments / service lines on a twentyfour (24) hour basis.

This role involves budget responsibility efficient resource utilization staff management achieving quality outcomes performance improvement and maintaining positive working relationships across the organization.

Key Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Plan organize direct and manage resources for multiple departments / service lines
  • Manage budget and ensure efficient / effective resource utilization
  • Recruit manage and develop assigned staff
  • Achieve quality outcomes and drive performance improvement initiatives
  • Monitor quality and quantity of services
  • Maintain positive working relationships with staff and system departments / managers
  • Oversee purchasing and maintenance of equipment
  • Complete established competencies for the position within designated introductory period

Qualifications : I. Education :

I. Education :

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing (required)
  • Masters Degree in Nursing Business or Related Field (preferred)

II. Experience :

  • 5 years experience in discipline or specialty
  • 35 years progressively responsible management experience

III. License(s) / Certification(s) :

  • Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse (required)
  • Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA)
  • AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
  • Specialty or Administration certification (a plus)

Knowledge Skills & Abilities :

  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Indepth knowledge of perioperative services and hospital operations
  • Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation
  • Ability to drive quality improvements and achieve operational excellence
