SPPECH LANGUAGEPATHOLOGIST

Duties :

All Work will be provided under the guidance / supervision of IdealTherapy staff SLP.

Perform initial and ongoingspeech evaluations according to ASHA standards of practice as wellas state standards.

Develop Plan of Treatmentfor each patient based on initial and ongoing evaluations includingshort and longterm goals collaboration demands of other staffmembers and required patient and caregiverinvolvement.

Implement Plan of Treatment on aconsistent schedule and adjust this schedule and plan according topatient progress.

Document patient progressaccording to approved medical documentation and facilitydocumentation procedures.

Report patient sprogress to patient patient caregivers and loved ones facilitystaff and healthcare

professionals involved inongoing treatment / care of patients.

Develop aplan for patients following completion of their Plan of Treatmentwith appropriate in home care services.

Maintainprofessional and technical knowledge through attending educationalworkshops reviewing professional publicationsetc.

Assist other facility staff members asneeded to provide care and create a clean orderly and effectiveenvironment for rehabilitation and speechtherapy.

All session notes must be completedwithin 24 hours following the patient s treatmentsession.

And evaluations to be completed andlocked within 3 days. The completion

Supervisionand training of CF student intern and / orvolunteers.

Assist periodically withoffice / admin tasks when case load is down.

Attend and participate in staff meeting / training and inservicepresentations.

Complete all CUE requirements forrelicensure at least 3 months prior to your renewal date; unlessyou are enrolled for a certification training that is scheduledafter that date.
