Graphic Designer (Art to Product for Apparel and Accessories + Branding + Creative Services)
Job Purpose
The Graphic Designer is primarily responsible for supporting the design and product development processes using computer design software technology to create print and pattern options for product application, detailed drawings of products, packaging, signage, and assisting with other projects throughout the Club.
Additionally, this role involves supporting creative services by ensuring all designs adhere to brand guidelines, collaborating with the creative team to maintain a consistent brand identity, and contributing to the development and implementation of innovative design solutions.
Essential Functions of the Job
- Ability to translate relevant consumer trends into Masters merchandise that will resonate with our patrons.
- Communicate and adhere to brand guidelines for self and other stakeholders, ensuring all designs consistently reflect the established brand identity.
- Through research and benchmarking create and define seasonal color palettes for merchandise (apparel and non-apparel).
- Creates exclusive patterns and various designs from concept to final art for merchandise (apparel and non-apparel).
- In conjunction with the product development function, assist in the creation of high-level merchandise assortments on a seasonal basis.
- Creates tech packs or design details which communicate all measurable design specifications for apparel and accessory items in the assortment plan.
- Creates and maintains designs and CADs for merchandise assortments (current and past).
- Monitors and benchmarks industry standards for graphic direction and application to seek continuous improvement.
- Communicates regularly with suppliers both domestic and international.
- Supports creative needs of other departments within the Club.

- Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties.
- Occasionally required to walk and work with hands and arms, lift up to 25 pounds and / or drive a golf cart.
- Required to sit the majority of each day, sometimes for several hours at a time, and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Designs display signage for all Tournament Golf Shops
- Assist with product display and Tournament setup
- Maintains the protection of assets and other intellectual properties
- Occasional business travel required
- Performs all other duties, which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job
Skills / Knowledge / Attributes :
- Proficient in ADOBE Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and In Design
- Illustration abilities preferred
- Effective organizational skills
- Effective time management skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks within tight deadlines
- Computer skills to include Microsoft Office programs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
Relative Experience / Education :
- Graphic design or design degree from an accredited university or technical equivalent
- One (1) to three (3) years of graphic design or related experience is preferred
- Continuing education and / or technical training in textiles, fashion merchandising or graphic design is preferred
Required License(s) :
Possess a valid driver’s license and / or successfully completes the Club’s internal motor vehicle training program
Projected Work Schedule :
Normal work hours are 8 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm, Monday through Friday. Other additional hours may be required when necessary.
