As a Senior Credit and Collections Analyst, you will be a critical part of the Company’s day-to-day and month-end close processes, reporting, and operational procedures.

As a member of the broader Accounting team, you will be a meticulous self-starter who can work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This role will report to the Credit and Collections Manager.

This is a full time role that can be held from our San Francisco hub.

What you’ll do at Figma :

• Connect with customers daily to ensure timely collection of accounts receivable.
• Conduct timely research, analysis and decision making for resolution of disputed items, short / over-payments.
• Work with the invoicing team to resolve billing disputes and credit note requests.
• Evaluate new and existing client relationships by completing a thorough risk assessment including analysis and interpretation of financials including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements
• Collaborate with the sales team on options for customers with credit worthiness issues
• Ensure accurate customer records through proper account reconciliations, payment application, recording of adjustments (write-offs, credit memos, etc.

• Participate in process improvement projects with evidence based findings and solutions
• Ad-hoc projects as they arise

We'd love to hear from you if you have :

• 3+ years of experience in credit and collections
• Experience working with a payment processor (e.g. Stripe, Square, Paypal, etc.) and an accounting ERP (eg. Netsuite)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have :

• Experience working for a fast-paced SaaS technology business
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with emphasis on accuracy
• Strong Excel & reconciliation skills
• Experience with Dunning tools like Tesorio
• Experience with Credit review tools like Dun & Bradstreet

Pay Transparency Disclosure

If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the hourly base pay range stated below.

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location.

The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range.

Hourly Base Pay Range (SF / NY Hub) : $39.90 $71.20 USD
