Systems Engineer III

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a system manager / integrator in integration and implementation of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 802.

3 Local Area Network (LAN), IEEE 1703-2012 Wide Area Network (WAN) and converged Internet Protocol (IP)-services that leverage COTS information technologies to deliver enhanced mission capabilities to the host nation

• Seven (7) years of IT professional experience overseeing the creation of hybrid software, web and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance.
• Experience integrating various network operating systems, application programs and hardware devices through system specification, design, coding testing and maintenance support
• CompTIA Network+ OR equivalent such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• CompTIA Security+ Engineer, Systems
• 5 - 10% travel CONUS or OCONUS to support program status reviews

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Utilizes specialized experience in enterprise and campus-wide WAN / LAN infrastructures in allied military (FMS) shore facilities worldwide, including Command & Control (C2) centers, Operations Centers, and logistics support centers
• Considers overall project design including cost, schedule, and social issues that may be associated with a project
