HR Compliance Manager
A global firm is seeking an HR professional to manage the compliance efforts. You will ensure HR policies and regulated processes are compliant with applicable employment / labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requires 2 days onsite a week and allows for 3 days remote
Responsibilities :
- Stays informed on employment law, regulation, and best practices and communicates updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure HR policies and processes follow applicable current employment / labor laws.
- Develops goals for the HR compliance function recommending procedural improvements in compliance practices.
- Ensure compliance and identify risks by scheduling audits of HR practices.
- Oversee company’s affirmative action program.
- Drive compliance by providing metrics & reporting.
- Manages compliance and escalation of employment screening.
- Educates & trains employees on anti-harassment compliance.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of HR compliance experience.
- Experience developing and implementing significant responsibilities in the development and implementation of affirmative action and equal opportunity programs, or Audit role required.
- Must have a working knowledge of state and federal employment / labor laws and statutes.
