EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineer - Surface Mount Technology (SMT) with our Hughes Network Services Manufacturing division.
This position will be located at our facility in Germantown, MD.Responsibilities include but not limited to : Work with business and production design teams to formulate a manufacturing process for new productsManaged multi- shift production operations to meet daily schedulesWork with managers and supervisor to improve process for Surface Mount Technology and Box Build Departments.
Work with equipment designers and manufacturing to develop a cost-effective process for new productsSet detailed specifications and implement production plansConduct system tests to verify efficiency, accuracy and production process is successfulOversee process design and project timelinesMaintain financial budgetsImprove manufacturing and production processes to increase productivityResearch and purchase new manufacturing technologyImplement and transition new technology successfullyBasic Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 4 years’ experience working in a Manufacturing environment2+ years of experience improving process for Surface Mount Technology and Box Build Departments.
Preferred Qualifications : Experience with SAP preferredExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenPrevious experience working in an electronical manufacturing facility#H#LI-BL1
