We are looking for a highly motivated Commercial Insurance Sales Executive to support and grow the greater Raleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill area.
While the majority of the role can be carried out remotely, we are looking for someone who is local in order to meet with us and our clients in person.
Our Sales Executive retains current clients and develops future Commercial Insurance clients by :
- Working with prospective clients to assess their Commercial Insurance needs
- Developing accounts and cross selling products and services
- Working with carriers to ensure that prospective clients receive favorable quotes
- Collaborate with account managers and the marketing team to complete proposals and selection of potential markets
- Developing and delivering formal proposals of insurance program
- Growing and maintaining relationships
To be a good fit for this role, you will need :
- Valid North Carolina Property & Casualty insurance license
- Five years of experience Commercial Insurance sales
- Experience with Risk Management to include : MOD promulgations, developing loss analysis, loss control reviews, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team including account managers, carriers and claims adjusters
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word & Outlook
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Acceptable results of pre-employment background screening
