ResponsibilitiesUnder general supervision of the Director of Nursing and specific supervision of the Radiologist and / or Unit Charge Nurse and Radiology Manager / Director, the radiology / special procedures nurse will be responsible for the care of patients undergoing special procedures, for monitoring and dispensing medication to patients during procedural sedation, including the pre and post-procedure periods.
The nurse will also be responsible for direct and indirect delivery of patient care of all ages for a wide variety of patient population through the use of the nursing process and the maintenance of the standards of the professional nursing practice.
