Hazen and Sawyer is seeking Project Managers to join our growing Hartford and Boston offices.

Hazen and Sawyer is a nationally recognized engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities.

Education and Experience Requirements :

  • Bachelor of Science in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • PE license (with the ability to obtain reciprocity within six months of employment)
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Proven leadership capabilities

Responsibilities will include :

  • Leading and managing project teams in the evaluation, planning, design, and construction of water, wastewater, and / or stormwater-related projects
  • Overseeing multiple project budgets and schedules proactively
  • Supervising and mentoring less experienced staff
  • Developing new clients and maintaining existing client relations (supported by Hazen’s Connecticut staff, New England offices, and New York headquarters)
  • Collaborating with Hazen’s New England leadership team
  • Traveling within the New England and New York areas (limited)
