Position Summary :
The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business and managing existing accounts within the metals industry.
This role involves identifying customer needs, providing tailored solutions, and building long-term relationships to achieve sales targets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the metals market.
Responsibilities :
- Focusing on Sales and Business Development by Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research.
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to achieve sales targets.
- Present and demonstrate the company’s products and services to potential clients.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure ongoing service quality and address any issues or concerns.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with customers.
- Market Analysis by monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Provide feedback and insights to the sales and marketing teams to refine strategies and tactics.
- Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities and customer needs.
- Reporting and Administration maintaining accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions using CRM software.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the metals industry or a related field.
- Strong understanding of metals and alloys, including their applications and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-focused with a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
