Attorney - Los Angeles

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., a multi-office national law firm is seeking experienced Attorneys to join our Los Angeles / Glendale Office due to our successful growth.

Practice areas include General Liability, Commercial Litigation, Construction Defect, Labor Law, Auto Litigation and Property Litigation.

The ideal candidate would have 3-5 years experience. We are open to a remote position.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Provide client communication and advice as it relates to litigation risks and outcomes, legal rights and obligations, etc.
• Evaluation of findings and development of strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
• Drafting and performing legal review and analysis and advising on issues for the area of law practiced.
• Preparation and attendance of mediations and hearings as required.
• Client interaction and problem resolution as it relates to case hearings.
• Integration of best practices and standards in handling clients and their cases.
• Timely preparation of discovery to opposing parties, and respond to discovery by opposing parties.
• Development of new clients, maintain relationships with existing clients.
• Meeting requirements for designated minimum billable time (hours / receivables)
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Experience in Construction Defect, General Liability, Labor Law, Commercial Litigation Property Liability, Auto, Labor Law and / or litigation.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited university
• Must be admitted to practice law and in good standing with bar of the State of California and able to be admitted in all Federal District Courts in California, if not already admitted.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and research skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and produce an accurate and high-quality work product.
• Strong computer skills including, MS Word, Outlook and Excel, Westlaw and time-billing software.

The Salary Range for this is : $135,000 to $150,000 annually depending on experience
