We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a PAINTER!
Ridgeview Institute is currently hiring for a full-time Professional Painter to use skilled trade abilities to execute day-to-day preparation tasks and accomplish various paint jobs for our hospital .
As our Painter, your skills help you excel in this position. Your ability to efficiently utilize ladders and power equipment including boom lifts and spray guns, allows for productive workdays.
You work with a team in always keeping a clean and tidy workspace. Whether applying paint, stain, or utilizing your carpentry skills, we truly rely on your skilled trade abilities to assist in the overall success of our hospital! Additional responsibilities
- Applies various finishes to buildings, rooms, or other structures, including primers or sealers.
- Prepares, cleans, and tapes all job sites.
- Removes old paint coating, if necessary.
- Mixes colors or oils to obtain desired color or consistency.
- Moves necessary materials around Jobsite as assigned.
- Cleans up worksite debris.
- Assists Maintenance department with alternate duties as needed
Qualifications
Education : High school graduate or equivalent preferred; two years of technical or trade school preferred.
Experience : Previous painting experience preferred. Proficiency with painting tools and equipment a plus. Ability to safely operate various vehicles and equipment.
Licensure : Must have a valid driver's license.
Additional Requirements : Must have complete knowledge of physical plant within two weeks of hire
