A day in the life.
As a Strategic Client Executive on the Employee Health & Benefits team, you will serve as the primary contact for MMA, managing relationships with our clients and their C-Suite Executives.
Your role will involve delivering advanced client service, including resolving claims and addressing billing and eligibility issues.
You will independently handle a complex book of business, requiring minimal direction from the Benefits Consultant. Additionally, you will take on a leadership role within internal teams, leading the training and development of staff members.
In addition to client management, Strategic Client Executives also play a crucial role in the marketing process. This includes overseeing the collection of all RFP documents from clients or carriers, ensuring accuracy and providing guidance on alternate options to be quoted.
You will also ensure that proposals align with the marketing request and present them to the Benefit Consultant. Your involvement in formulating carrier negotiation strategies and client strategies will be vital.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant rules and regulations, as well as overseeing the overall communication plan for the client.
As a trusted partner to our Benefits Consultants and clients, you will provide guidance to the team on benefit implementation.
Overall, your role as a Strategic Client Executive will be instrumental in delivering exceptional service and driving success for our clients.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills :
- Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 7 years experience in employee benefits or human resources required
- Advanced knowledge of employee benefits markets and compliance required
- Extensive knowledge of risk management techniques, employee Benefit markets and carrier marketing techniques
- Extensive (in-depth) knowledge of applicable insurance products / lines inclusive of fully insured and self-funded markets
- Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply :
- Life and Health license or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Prior experience in broker environment strongly desired
