Description

GRANTS SUPPORT - 65%

Manage and direct proposal development, budget development and related pre-award issues for a diverse sponsor portfolio including both basic science and clinical grants

Meet with Principal Investigators to review financial issues with their research programs and to secure their approval of reports

Manage post-award processes including closeout, monitoring and review of all charges to sponsored projects, and audit requirements for federal awards and enforcing compliance with other sponsor guidelines

Provide support to study team, present financial and compliance status with team meetings and ensure study timelines are in accordance with guidelines.

Provide input and management of study budgets, ensure consistent use of study tools and training materials and compliance with standard processes, policies and procedures.

Play a key role in study start-up, intake and feasibility.

Facilitate and support audits and monitoring activities, such as : FDA inspections, internal and external audits, site qualifications / initiation, interim monitoring and close-out visits.

Oversee payroll on grants and work closely with the human resources team to ensure accuracy of salary distribution, effort reporting and other payroll related issues

HUMAN RESOURCES SUPPORT - 15%

Serve as primary partner with PDM Human Resources for recruitment and hiring processes and initiatives.

OPERATIONS & COMPLIANCE 15%

Provide support in research operations and compliance as needed.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned 5%

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, and 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
