  • Salary Range : $90,000-95,000

What you’ll do as the Account Manager :

  • Support the Producer in developing new business opportunities for existing clients and prospects
  • Initiate renewal process for existing clients and discuss renewal strategy with Producer
  • Analyze and compare current exposures and develop renewal or new business specifications for marketing
  • Conduct marketing, negotiate rates, and review quotes for competitiveness and accuracy
  • Review and summarize marketing results and prepare proposals
  • Finalize proposals and presentations in coordination with the Producers
  • Bind insurance coverage, prepare and review binders of insurance, and delegate certificate issuance
  • Review policies, identify deficiencies, and determine the appropriate level of coverage
  • Prepare summaries and schedules of coverage for clients
  • Prepare and maintain bordereaux for accounting and midterm transactions
  • Review client accounting history, respond to accounting inquiries, correct discrepancies, and contact client on receivable collections
  • Provide technical guidance to staff assisting with client needs or procedural issues

What you’ll bring to the Account Manager role :

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6+ years of related work experience
  • Valid insurance license
  • Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal
  • Encouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by supervisor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
  • Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills
  • Good problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
