Senior Finance Analyst, Commercial Finance
We are seeking a high performing Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Travel Partners and Media (TPM) organization supporting the Lodging Supply business.
The Lodging Supply organization leads Expedia Group's core relationships with the largest global lodging partners across 200+ countries.
In this role you will support our North America (NORAM) and Latin America (LATAM) Hotel Market Partnerships (HMP) Supply teams.
Influencing them to make better decisions by providing financial, commercial, and analytical support. The Senior Commercial Finance Analyst is essential to driving strategic growth, evaluating investment opportunities, providing commercial insights, and seeking efficiencies.
This involves interacting with various levels of the organization helping to drive the business forward. You will be operating on a global team and thriving in an ambiguous environment.
The successful candidate possesses excellent financial knowledge, owns commercial deliverables and prioritizes workload effectively.
Key contributions include performance trend insights, building business cases, and advising the commercial teams.
What you'll do :
Partner with the business to find opportunities for improvement in our commercial agreements, customer experience, processes and revenue growth
Support commercial negotiations with key Hotel partners alongside the NORAM and LATAM HMP teams
Assist on quarterly forecast process with maintaining financial models and standard templates supporting planning processes, ensuring quality, accuracy and analytical reviews
Collaborate with business partners to drive understanding of financial impacts, identify and communicate risks and opportunities
Monitor variances on key performance indicators and recommend actions to management
Develop and share best-practices across the team to improve and automate processes and help the team win
Provide ad-hoc analysis, modeling and reporting to improve efficiency and performance
Who you are :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting field or related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience
CPA or MBA preferred
3+ years of work experience in a similar financial or analytical role
Strong analytical skills and demonstrated knowledge of financial budgeting / forecasting processes
Consultative, data-driven approach towards business problems and process improvements
Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and with all levels of management
Detail oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and competing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-driven, curious and proactive to understand, learn and improve
Advanced Microsoft Excel experience and strong presentation skills
Knowledge of database extraction languages (SQL) and experience with Teradata / Hyperion / Tableau preferred
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $82,500.00 to $115,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $132,000.
00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
