As an Office Assistant / Teacher at Primrose School of Johns Creek Northwest located at 11130 Jones Bridge Road Johns Creek, GA 30022 you will help young minds explore, discover and understand the world around them.
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Part time Morning Office Assistant to plan and implement an ongoing program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of each child.

This will be from 6am to 9 : 30am
Primary Responsibilities :
- Is responsible for setting up necessary paperwork for the school day
- Open up the school every day at the start of the school day
- Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School of Johns Creek Northwest and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.
- Help create relationships with the Families by being warm and welcome in your greetings every day
- Be kind and loving towards all children and assist them to their classrooms as needed
- Follow a check list to ensure that materials and resources are ready for the day.
- Check in with teachers that they have what they need for the day
- Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and / or school functions.
- Assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary.
Desired skills and experience :
- Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency.
- Early Childcare Education experiance preferred.
- Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred to understand the needs for a school
- Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
