Summary :
The Educational Program Manager will manage Junior Achievement’s Programs implemented through community partners, and school partnerships.
You will oversee the Stock Market Challenge Program and Career Exploration Fairs. This role emphasizes cultivating school / educator relationships, stakeholder partnerships, community engagement and managing volunteers.
By managing JA programs and events, the Educational Program Manager facilitates the activities of volunteers, stakeholders, and educators, upholds quality standards for the organization, assures adherence to program models and expansion, and develops and maintains positive educator relationships at all levels.
This position is a key member of the Programs team ensuring that the programs are successfully implemented while key relationships are cultivated and nurtured.
What you will do :
- Manage volunteers throughout the year.
- Manage and grow the JA Stock Market Challenge and JA Career Exploration Fair Programs to achieve the outlined goals.
- Work with community partners to align JA programming to meet the needs and goals of their students.
- Develop and maintain external relationships through networking, regular communication, and personalized outreach including district administration, schools, educators, business partners, sponsors, etc.
This includes activities such as proactively participate in relevant networking groups to create and foster connections.
- Retain and recruit schools, business / community partners, educators, volunteers, and mentors to implement the programs.
- Assure program quality through monitoring and providing high-quality training and support.
- Evaluating the program's effectiveness including the collection of data, tracking KPIs, and reporting on the program's success and areas for improvement.
- Provide feedback, program materials, and resources to volunteers, schools and educators.
- Organize and implement volunteer, educator, and staff training.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop a plan and assist / create compelling program collateral materials including social media posts.
- Ensure all program data is current and accurate.
- Manage the program budgets.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
What you will need :
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, education, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in education, sales, recruitment, or a related field
- Experience with curriculum writing is a plus.
- Knowledge of CRM systems such as Canvas, google classroom.
- Preferred knowledge of education community and organizations.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Google.
- Possesses good technical knowledge and skills.
- Knowledge of the local business community.
- Project management experience preferred with the ability to multitask.
- Passion for JA's mission and a willingness to learn programs.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and maintain confidentiality.
- This position requires a valid FL State driver’s license, insurance, and use of an employee vehicle.
- Able to meet physical requirements of standing, sitting, walking, driving, reach, bend, lift, or climb, and lift 25 pounds at times.
