LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading national dental practice group to hire a Compliance Officer . Headquartered in downtown Chicago, our client is growing rapidly.
Run by experienced and ambitious leaders, they are known for their work in underserved communities. This role will focus on regulatory compliance, OSHA claims investigations and audits.
This role is available for those seeking to relocate to Chicago. A relocation package may be provided. This role is in office 5 days a week in downtown Chicago, so please do not apply if you are not able to relocate or don't already reside in Chicago.
Compliance Officer Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement and oversee company-wide compliance programs to ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and other relevant laws
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate compliance risks
- Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures
- Manage and investigate compliance-related claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on compliance standards and best practices
- Collaborate with leadership to integrate compliance into all operational processes
- Monitor and interpret regulatory changes and ensure the company’s policies and practices are updated accordingly
- Prepare and present detailed reports on compliance activities and findings to senior management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all regulatory bodies and manage any external audits or inspections
- Develop strategies and defenses to respond to and manage OSHA investigations
- Foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement throughout the organization
- Manage a small team of 1-2 staff
Compliance Officer Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience in a compliance role, with 3+ years in a leadership position
- Must have experience in healthcare or dental
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in compliance, risk management or a related area preferred
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements
- Proven experience in conducting audits, managing investigations and implementing compliance programs
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders
- High level of integrity and professional ethics
