CAD Technician – Floor Plans
Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for a CAD Technician to support our client’s operation in Fort Meade, MD.
This is a long-term contract (contract to hire) position and a great opportunity to work on a high-profile government project.
Responsibilities :
- Use CAD tools to create and update digital floor plans of buildings on military installations.
- Accurately document space usage within buildings floor plan based on standardized criteria and attributes.
- Utilize computing and digital measuring devices to generate highly accurate floor plans.
- Maintain a high level of productivity.
- Ensure detailed data quality standards are consistently maintained.
- Interact in a professional manner.
Qualifications :
- 1+ years of CAD experience
- Associates in design, drafting or related field
- Proficient in AutoCAD and / or other CAD Software
- Good computer skills
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Physically able to walk or stand for more than 6 hours per day
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
