OPEN JOB : Director of Procurement
LOCATION : Louisville, Kentucky
The work schedule will be a hybrid model, 4 days in the office in Louisville, KY and 1 day remote to begin.
SALARY - $75,000 to $125,000
FULL-TIME

FIRM : the firm manages the back office and operations for Long Term Care, Assisted Living and Nursing Homes.
SUMMARY :
- The Director of Procurement is responsible for managing key vendor relationships while identifying cost saving opportunities.
- This position is responsible for the planning, direction, coordination, and tracking of the purchasing efforts for the company.
QUALIFICATIONS : Education :
Education :
- High School diploma required.
- B.S. Degree preferred.
Experience :
- 2 years of experience in healthcare setting, Long-term care preferred
- 2 years in purchasing or procurement.
Essential Functions :
- Researching key suppliers.
- Monitor product quality.
- Negotiating purchase agreements to ensure all products meet company standards
- Oversee the procurement process, including requisition, sourcing, purchasing, and delivery
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
- Collaborate with facilities to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
- Stay abreast of market trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact procurement.
- Maintain relationships with vendors,
- Conduct business review meetings on a recurring basis.
