About The Position
Job Title : Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant Job Specialty : Physical Therapy Assistant Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Monday-Friday, Days Guaranteed Hours : 32 per week Experience : Not specified License : State License Required Certifications : CPR (fundamental facilities) Must-Have : - Rehab Optima experience preferred Job Description : - Full-time position, 40 hours per week expected - Perform assigned physical therapy assistant duties under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation - Adhere to safety regulations and protocols during therapy sessions - Conduct rehabilitation exercises correctly and safely - Promote patient independence and progress through personalized therapy programs - Collaborate with team members to plan and assess therapy goals - Monitor and report patient’s progress and response to treatments - Administer appropriate modalities and interventions as per the therapist's plan - Assist in maintaining a clean and organized therapy environment - Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations Credentialing Checklist : - Verification of State License - Resume - Three references - County Criminal Check (last 7 years for all counties lived and worked in) - Federal Criminal Check (last 7 years or more) - Multi-State Criminal Search (last 7 years or more) - Nationwide Sex Offender Search (last 7 years or more) - HHS / OIG Search - GSA Search - Social Security Number Trace - Negative Drug Screen Results Health Screening Required : - 1 Step PPD or Quantiferon or Proof of Positive PPD and Chest X-Ray (if applicable) - Texas DADS (if applicable)
