Role Summary This management role will bridge the gap between technology and the specialty vendor partnerships ensuring we maintain a high level of technology collaboration and oversight for the Medicare line of business.

The Senior Manager will be the primary point of contact for all specialty intercompany agreement relationships and their related technical initiatives and serve as the trusted advisor for stakeholders across multiple specialty areas within the organization. Responsibilities

  • Provider leadership and oversight for all Specialty intercompany agreement partnerships serving as the quarterback between the Cigna Group, technology and the Medicare business stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the intercompany agreements and relationships ensuring accurate technical exchanges and connectivity are established and monitored.
  • Serve as the technical trusted advisor to Business and Specialty Stakeholders and collaborate in business case development and roadmap planning.
  • Build strong relationships with leadership within the Cigna Group specialty organizations that service specialty pharmacy, dental, behavioral health, clinical and the Evernorth ecosystem, facilitating communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor vendor performance and trends to business leaders, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance success.
  • Maintain strong connections and communications with key contributors, ensuring they understand the vision, approach and status of intercompany relationships with the organization.
  • Lead special projects and initiatives as delegated by management, driving cross-functional collaboration, and achieving project objectives.
  • In collaboration with stakeholders, ensures teams have necessary budgets, resources, approvals, and other support.
  • Communicates regularly with key compliance Stakeholders to collect and share feedback.
  • Ensures business owners are engaged and supportive of direction. Builds and maintains relationships with stakeholders to stay abreast of business and technical team needs.
  • Resolves issues escalated by teams and continually optimizes teams and processes.
  • Communicate to senior leaders about strategy direction and changes specific to Specialty intercompany arrangements.

  • Strong background in both Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D compliance and technology.
  • Experience with vendor relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • 10+ years' experience working with Government Business Healthcare Solutions highly desired.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail required. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download / 5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 128,900 - 214,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan. We want you to be healthy, balanced, and feel secure.
