Customer Service Representative

Southwark Metal Manufacturing seeks an ambitious, energetic and knowledgeable Customer Service / Data Entry Representative to join our team in Northeast Philadelphia.

Southwark Metal Mfg. Co is a leading provider of prefabricated sheet metal ducts and fittings to the HVAC industry. Southwark stands above our competitors by providing quality products, superior service, and on-time delivery since 1946.

The Customer Service Representative will interact with the company’s customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints.

We are interested in a candidate with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and strong data entry skills.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment of 3 5 years preferred
• Excellent time management and organizational skills required with an ability to manage multiple priorities
• Interacts with customers via telephone or email to provide support and information on products and services.
• Providing timely feedback regarding customer concerns and initiating effective resolutions
• Fields customer questions and complaints; forwards to the appropriate staff when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge.
• Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies
• Collects and enters orders from submitted purchase orders by phone, fax, EDI, and email.
• Record customer information within our customer service database
• Assist in various tasks based on daily needs.
• Detail oriented and accuracy a must
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Work Environment :

• Onsite, in-person
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer,
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Required Education and Experience :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of customer service experience is preferred.
