The AB Sales Analytics, Data, Product and Tech (ADAPTech) team uses CRM, data, product, and science to improve Sales productivity and performance.

It has four pillars : 1) SalesTech maintains Salesforce to enable Sales workflows, and supports >

2K users in nine countries, 2) Product and Science builds tools embedded with bespoke Machine Learning (ML) and GenAI large language models to enable sales reps to prioritize top accounts, position the right Amazon Business (AB) product features, and take actions based on critical customer events, and 3) Sales Data Management (SDM) and Sales Account Management (SAM) enrich customer profiles and business hierarchies while improving productivity through automation and integration of internal / external tools, and 4) Business Intelligence (BI) enables self-service reporting simplifying access to key insights through WBRs and dashboards.

Our team's NorthStar is to improve sales reps performance and productivity by reducing tool fragmentation, establish Salesforce as the first choice for all Sales activities, and provide reps with accurate and timely guidance using analytics to meet their goals.

We are seeking a seasoned technical product manager to own the technical roadmap and lead our Automated Virtual Assistant (AVA) program that mimics sales rep's behavior and mechanizes customer outreach by segmenting the customer base, and use AI for personalized outreach to unmanaged and untouched customers.

AVA sends tailored emails to customers on behalf of the sales reps based on the customer's data and comparison to similar customer's next actions.

AVA emails these customers to suggest new AB features, savings and value from their AB account or options available at AB for bulk buy and quantity discounts.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

They must possess a product management background, particularly in building technical tools and software, and have demonstrated experience leading medium to large-scale projects.

The ideal candidate will also excel in an entrepreneurial setting, taking initiative, driving results, and rolling up their sleeves to get the job done.

As a Sr. PMT, they will be responsible for overseeing high-impact projects, anticipating issues, managing escalations, and balancing business needs with technical constraints.

Additionally, the successful candidate must have the capability to break down complex projects into manageable components and deliver them in a timely, successful manner.

Maturity, sound judgment, negotiation skills, influence, analytical talent, and leadership abilities are essential for thriving in this role.

Key job responsibilities

  • Build and drive a multi-year global product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Engage with sales, data science, legal, marketing tech, and other teams to understand pain points and solve them.
  • Develop business requirements and partner with data science, data engineering, business intelligence, sales operations and other teams to implement business requirements.
  • Lead CX walkthroughs and write business requirement and product vision documents.
  • Model the business and financial impact along with the finance team, and manage product adoption globally
  • Collaborate with global teams to launch product in new regions and fix issues / bugs post feature launch
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing Tech, and Legal teams to launch automated email programs
  • Integrate product with 1P Marketing tools.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning / driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience working with building customer communication / marketing tools, recommendations engine or developing internet products and technologies
  • Analytical rigor with advanced knowledge SQL
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200 / year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
