This is a seasonal position through December 2024. The Seasonal Events Coordinator oversees and organizes events from conception to completion.

The ideal candidate possesses experience in live event management, is super detail-oriented, and is a proactive problem solver.

This role requires someone who can understand and conceptualize an event plan from an initial, big picture vision down to every minute detail.

This includes interfacing with clients, internal operations and managing 3rd party vendors.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Job duties to include but not limited to the following :

  • Execute events at local properties, including the creation of site maps, customer logos, signage, and catering set-ups
  • Oversee on-site Quality Control and game day service efforts, in collaboration with local sales and operations teams, both in advance of and during game day events
  • Ensure high level of customer service practices for all guests at tailgating events
  • Hire, train, and manage part-time, game day staff for customer servicing
  • Manage and run event start to finish including setup and teardown
  • Effectively communicate with REVELxp management and clients
  • Understand all aspects of the products in the activation area in order to setup and maintain features such as TV's, satellites, and generators
  • Manage and motivate event staff including bellhops, gameday hosts, and security personnel
  • Maintain radio communication with event staff
  • Coordinate logistics and oversee vendors
  • Maintain, properly store, and secure assets between events
  • Effectively problem solve before, during, and after events
  • Continually interact positively with customer base to enhance the fan experience
  • Provides substantial feedback on event to management in order to implement improvements immediately
  • Participate in weekly conference calls with REVELxp management
  • Respond effectively to requests to changes, both from partners as well as REVELxp management
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous management or supervisory experience is a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of sports and the excitement surrounding in-person events is a plus
  • Self-motivation that drives individual results while being a strong team player
  • Possess a high energy, strong desire to achieve top results with a charismatic, positive "can-do" attitude
  • Effectively communicate in verbal and written forms
  • Ability to manage and coach various levels of team members
  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs. and work weekends
  • Manage and oversee, inventory management and invoice reconciliation
  • Operating knowledge of REVELxp technologies and operating platforms
  • Should be goal oriented and should strive to complete the assigned project on time
  • Must be able to use tools and climb ladders
  • Must be able to react quickly and troubleshoot any problems that may arise
  • Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and be on his / her feet for up to 8-10 hours at a time
  • Must have flexible work schedule; event weeks will vary
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from events
