Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for all repair processes, SOP's, manuals, databases, and documentation.
  • All team communication with sales reps and / or customers via phone and email.
  • Inspect damaged products to determine the causes of failure and the cost of repairs.
  • Responsible for testing procedures of Keyence owned trial and demo equipment.
  • Reporting to upper management and National Product Directors.
  • Completion of projects with a measurable impact to efficiency, cost saving, profitability, or other business needs for the department.
  • Possible travel or international travel up to several weeks per year.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (Engineering or Technical Degree preferred).
  • Ability to establish and maintain good communication with sales and customers.
  • Ability to use hand tools and electronic devices.
  • Analytical skill to identify the underlying causes of product failure.
  • Integrity - job requires appropriate handling of confidential, and sensitive information.
  • Dependability - meeting deadlines, completing duties or projects on time.
  • Ability to lift 30 - 70 lbs. of equipment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft-based applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Repair experience, soldering, and the use of testing equipment such as a voltmeter.
  • Ability to read schematics.
