Occupational Therapist (OT) in Norridge, IL Area (Full Benefits)
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute personalized treatment plans that address the specific needs of each patient.
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities.
- Lead individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing daily living and occupational skills.
- Educate patients and their families on techniques to improve independence and functionality.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and integrated care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field through ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience with diverse patient populations is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
- A compassionate, patient-focused approach to therapy.
