Looking for : Full / Part time / Per Diem
Description : Personal Care Attendant will perform homecare duties. These duties require personal care services necessary to meet the patient’s needs.
PCA responsibilities will include, but are not limited to
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Providing medication reminders
- Assisting with patient’s laundry as needed
- Meeting safety needs of patients
- Reporting significant changes in the patient’s condition to their direct supervisor
- Preparing light meals and assisting in feeding patient if necessary
- Companion services such as reading and writing letters
- Maintaining documentation and care procedures
- Adhering to privacy policies and infection control protocols
- Bathing assistance
- Light housekeeping
Requirements :
- 18 years of age (or older)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Proof of Auto Insurance
- Must pass PCA competency and skills test
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must comply with all local, state, federal, and company policies
